Is it possible to end up more tired after sleeping than before? Because at this point I'm about ready to believe that there's something wrong with me. Then again, maybe going to bed at three in the morning might have something to do with it . . . Oh well. Whatever. I'm already rambling, aren't I? Well, that's got to be a new record. So, what to talk about, what to talk about . . . Yeah, obviously I have no real life if I can't even think of something to write about, right? You'd think all I did was sleep and take pictures. Wait, now that I think about it, that's pretty damn close. Jeez, when did I get so boring? You'd think I could put enough brain cells forward to think of something decent to write. Unfortunately, apparently I can't. Dammit, I need to get a life, or something like it. Maybe I should start hanging around Noelle more . . . She at least has one, so maybe it'll rub off on me. Right, so, anyone seen any good movies lately? So far I've been to, well, none. All summer. Because I obviously just suck like that, and a lot of things don't really interest me.

1. What is your full name? Where you named after anyone? Do you have any nicknames? Samuel David Halston, at your service. As far as I know, Mom just picked names. Knowing her, she probably taped the pages to a dartboard and left it up to chance. I have a couple of nicknames - the most common are Sam or occasionally Sammy, depending on who you are.
2. When were you born? And that currently makes you?... 2:00 AM on September 12th, 1987. That makes me almost 21.
3. What is the reason you would like to attend Tenoroc University? What is your major going to be? Mostly because everywhere else I looked at had crap programs. I mean, St. Louis is great and all, but there's only so much you can do there. I was a theatre major to start out with, but I've since changed to art, specifically photography, due to other circumstances I'd rather not think about.

4. Where are you and your family from? Hazelwood, Missouri. It's a suburb of St. Louis, Missouri, and that's where I was born and bred.
5. Have any of your members of your family attended Tenoroc University? If so, who were they and when did they attend. Nope. I'm the first to end up here; hell, my dad didn't even go to college, and my mom just went to community college and night school.
6. Do you come from a religious background? Sort of. I mean, the parents dragged me to church every week, but I don't think that really counts, does it? I never really was much for believing what I couldn't see, and I think my mother at least guessed it, if she didn't understand it. After about fifteen she didn't make me go with them anymore; she wanted me to choose to go, which I didn't.
7. Are you involved in any extra-curriculars held on campus? If so, what are they? If not, why aren't you? I'm a photographer for the school paper.
8. What high school did you attend? What was your favorite class? Worst? What was your GPA? I went to Hazelwood West High School in Hazelwood, Missouri. I mean, it's not that big a school, but it wasn't completely horrible. I always liked art class, though that was probably because the teacher was only there half the time. The rest of the time we had last-minute subs who let us do whatever the hell we wanted, as long as we didn't get too loud or start rioting or anything. As for my grades . . . Well, uh, those aren't exactly something I'd like to talk about. Mostly because I know I screwed up there, and I'm not stupid enough to think otherwise. I think I finished up with, like, a 2.6. Maybe. I can't even really remember. You'd have to check my transcript for that.
9. What is one thing you wish you could do but know you can't? You know, I've always wanted to be one of those people who could get away with anything, just by pouting and pulling the whole puppy-eyed bit.
10. What is the most interesting book you've ever read? Kama Sutra For Dummies. Just kidding . . . I don't know, really. Probably Lord of the Flies by Golding. We read it in my senior English class, and I guess the whole commentary on human nature and the evil in all of us just kind of stuck. And hey, I got an A on my paper, so that's a plus.
11. How was your life before attending Tenoroc University? It wasn't too bad. I mean, my parents aren't perfect, by any stretch of the imagination, but they did well enough by me. You could never exactly call us rich by any stretch of the imagination, but we got by. It's my own idiot fault for not doing shit well enough to get a scholarship. So we do what we have to; mom's got two jobs, and I have mine. Whatever we need to do to pay the bills and make sure I get into school again, we do. It's not a big deal.
12. What is your secret? I blackmail others to earn my tuition money.
